About
Nicola Mecca is a composer and sound artist working across concert music, film, interactive media, radio, and installation. Through composition, live electronics, film sound, and performance, his work explores unstable tuning, archival media, breath, noise, silence, and the physical experience of listening.
His work has appeared across radio, festival, and installation contexts, including BBC Radio 3’s Short Cuts, the BBC World Service, RAI Radio, CAMP Radio, Triste Film Festival, XMTR Festival, and Sonosound.
