Keplero

Keplero is a project for drone music, installation, field recording, degraded media, archival sound, and slow listening. It works with tape, VHS, domestic memory, place, long-form sound, and the traces left behind by obsolete or damaged media.

The project is concerned with memory as something unstable: stretched, copied, eroded, looped, and partially lost. Keplero pieces often use archival fragments, field recordings, domestic audio, degraded images, and sustained sound fields to create immersive environments between installation, radio, and long-form composition.

Associated works and contexts include Pubblicità, Telefoni Bianchi, do you really have to go?, Palermo Memory Studies, and radio-related drone works.
